There are so many interesting things to see in Odessa, including its plethora of Museums and Beaches.
Rather than describe these beautiful places, we will list them for you!

The old section of the city is very clean and safe, for unguided travel through out the avenues and open parks. Opera Houses line the old town and there are very nice streets, where open vendors are available for souvenirs to tourists.

Museums

Odessa Museums

Museum of Western and Eastern Art, Muzey Zapadnogo i Vostochnogo Iskusstva. This museum is the most interesting. You can see paintings by famous artists.

Literature museum, is just at the very beginning of Lanzheronovskaya street. It shows a 100 year walk through the history of Odessa Literature.

The Maritime museum, just in between the opera and literature museums, houses the marine fleet of Odessa

Archaeology museum, is just around the corner as well.
The Picture gallery, at the very beginning of the Sofievskaya Street.. a palace of the prince, features art and ancient artifacts.

For breathtaking views, Walk along deribasovskaya street and you will see the middle of the Boulevard Walk. Go during the summer!

Also please walk the Primorskiy Parkway (bul’var), is also a very good place. In the middle of the street, you will find a monument to the Duke, the founder of Odessa.

From this point you can go the famous Potemkin Steps, to the Primorskaya street where there is a Marine Terminal, where a lot of buses stop for riding.

There is also the Catherine Square, which is a monumental area to Catherine the Great, the founder of Odessa.

Odessa Beaches

Odessa Beach

The city’s waterfront, except for ports, are beaches. All of the beaches are in the eastern part of Odessa. The most popular beaches are the following: listed from your stay at the city center!

Lanzheron Beach- is the closest one to the city center, located underneath the Shevchenko Park.

Otrada - is the second farthest.

Dolphin - is located in 3 more tram stops farther from Otrada. Also an aquarium of dolphins are nearby.

Arcadia is the most popular beach, and tourist hot spot with lots of restaurants, bars, discos, night clubs and other entertainment. Take tram 5/trolly bus #5 to get to Arcadia. The greatest entertainment lies in Arcadia!

Malibu A beach
is one at Luzanovka Neighborhood, is easily reachable by Trams, and is an luxury style beach. Malibu is the clearest beach on the sea shore with excellent services.
